Even the smallest packable jacket needs to be “packed” and carried. When we were designing the Scout Profleece jacket, we knew we could eliminate this step. Thanks to inspiration from our sailing jackets with packable hoods, the superlight, water resistant windbreaker packs perfectly into a high and protective collar.

Subtle, Smart Features

Wear the Scout Profleece Jacket as a fleece, and it has a subtle aesthetic. With slick fleece on the outside, brushed fleece on the inside, and a pop of orange in the collar, it’s a low key piece in any environment. But when you zip out the windbreaker, the hi vis color will keep you safe from city traffic on foggy days.

Best of all, the innovative elements of the Scout Profleece don’t come at the expense of basic function. The hand pockets lie within the fleece portion of the jacket, and there are cutouts in the windbreaker for complete cohesion. This solution makes it impossible to accidentally zip your keys into the collar and eliminates any extra bulk. The shell zips up for full coverage and ease of use, seamlessly transitioning from fleece to windbreaker.

We’re not the only fans of this versatile new jacket. From a field of 6,300 submissions from 59 countries, the Scout Profleece Jacket was awarded the Red Dot Award for Product Design 2018. Now, the Scout Profleece is recognized as one of the best in the industry.
